Hong Kong Identity Card
Hong Kong Identity
Cards are compulsory for all adults and children over the age of
11 years. Any person who arrives in the territory and stays for
more than 180 days must obtain a Hong Kong Identity Card.
Obtaining an
ID Card is a lengthy procedure and requires each eligible member
to register in person within 30 days of arrival in Hong Kong. Half
day is needed for the initial visit.

Pets
Many people
in Hong Kong keep pets despite of the cramped living conditions.
You can buy a pet in the pet shops or you can acquire a pet from
the RSPCA (Tel : 2523 3944) which always looks for good homes for
the healthy abandoned animals.
If you choose
to import your pet from aboard, you need to obtain a special permit
from the Agriculture and Fisheries Department. Besides, quarantine
of pets will be assessed upon their arrival.

Shopping Area
Hong Kong is
known as 'Shopping Paradise' in the world. There are different locations
that you can choose when buying stuffs.
Causeway
Bay is a popular shopping area for local residents packed with
sizable Japanese Department stores, multi-level shopping arcades
and street levels' shops. You will be astonished by the dazzling
variety of goods ranging from fashion to household products.
Central
is the business & financial centre of Hong Kong. World-class brand
name stores and many prestigious shops centred around Pedder Street
and Queen's Road. For oriental art & antique lovers, do not miss

Stanley
Market is a flea market located on the south side of Hong Kong
